A Story that Stuck

Have you ever heard a story that you couldn’t stop thinking about? For me, that was the story of Abraham and Isaac recorded in the Bible in Genesis 22, and read to me by my mother. God asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, his promised son. Abraham obeyed out of his love for God, and God provided a substitute ram instead. This story connected for me that, although I was a sinner, God loved me and sacrificed His son, Jesus Christ to become the substitute payment for my sin. I was young, but God granted to me to know His forgiveness for all of my wrong I had done or will ever do. As His adopted child, God is now my Father! In Christ alone, my hope is found! He is my light, my strength, my song!
